
I have managed to overcome more challenges than I can count. And I have learned a LOT!
Some of my learnings include realisations like:

I’m a mum, a leader, and someone who’s learned through both personal and professional experiences that resilience isn’t built in comfort — it’s shaped through the moments that test us most.
Like many people, I’ve faced chapters that challenged my confidence, balance, and wellbeing — experiences that taught me the importance of self-awareness, compassion, and growth.
When my son was diagnosed as autistic, our lives changed direction.
We quickly found ourselves navigating systems that often misunderstood him and environments that weren’t built to support his needs.
At one point, his school even labelled him as “high risk of criminalisation” — a phrase no parent should ever have to hear.
That moment opened my eyes to how easily potential can be overlooked when stress and difference are misunderstood.
It showed me how much we all need empathy, flexibility, and a belief that people thrive when they are truly seen and supported.
Those experiences — combined with my professional background as a Strategic Leader, PRINCE2®-certified Project Manager, and Master Coach & Trainer of NLP+® — have given me a deep and balanced understanding of human behaviour, stress, and resilience.
Working across the public, private, and voluntary sectors, including within the Integrated Care System (ICS), has shown me how leadership and wellbeing are deeply connected — and how the right strategies can help people thrive, even in complex environments.
By blending strategic thinking with psychological insight, I now help individuals and organisations develop clarity, confidence, and emotional agility — turning challenges into opportunities for meaningful, sustainable change.
